Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. He rose to fame as a cricketer and was the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, leading them to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup.
In 1996, Imran Khan founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party, which aimed to create a "new Pakistan" based on principles of justice and equality. He ran for political office several times before finally winning a seat in the National Assembly in the 2013 general elections. In the 2018 general elections, his party won a majority of seats in the National Assembly, and he was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has focused on issues such as poverty reduction, healthcare, education, and promoting economic growth. He has also been a vocal advocate for human rights and has worked to improve relations with neighboring countries.
